The Art of Healing With Kintsugi
Broken made Beautiful
01
Kintsugi is built on the idea that in embracing the broken pottery pieces’ flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.
02
Using this art as a metaphor for healing ourselves teaches us an important lesson – that sometimes in the process of repairing ourselves through our flaws and imperfections, we create an even more beautiful stronger, resilient us. We may be BROKEN but no less BEAUTIFUL!
03
In an age of mass production and quick disposal, learning to accept and celebrate scars and flaws and to not throw away things that break is also a powerful lesson in sustainability.
04
Kintsugi Art Studio was born out of a passion to teach this sustainable and healing art to everyone.
